HAKOM continued upgrading its online services for citizens

PRESS RELEASE

In the course of development and implementation of online services within the framework of its programme entitled “e-Agency”, HAKOM put into operation two new applications, “e-Conditions” and “e-Guidelines”. This is a continuation of its business policy aimed at making its services more accessible to citizens and offering faster and cheaper ways of obtaining certain documents.

ZAGREB, 26 January 2015 – The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) continued with the development and upgrading of its online services within the framework of its e-business development programme entitled e-Agency. By supporting and actively implementing a general position of necessary further and continuous IT introduction into society in general, HAKOM made it possible for its users to submit the following requests electronically:
•           obtaining of special conditions in the procedure for the issuing of location and/or building permit
•           obtaining of guidelines – requirements in the procedure for the development and adoption of spatial plans.

HAKOM, as a legal entity with public authority in the sector of electronic communications and associated facilities, participates in the procedure for the granting of location or building permits by issuing special building conditions. HAKOM also participates in the adoption of spatial plans by issuing guidelines– requirements that must be complied with by the author of the spatial plan. Applications “e-Conditions” and “e-Guidelines” are in compliance with legal provisions regulating the issuing of location and/or building permits, that is, with the procedure for the development and adoption of the spatial plan.

Links to services “e-Conditions” and “e-Guidelines” are available on HAKOM’s website at www.hakom.hr, by using the “e-Agency“ browser. These links contain detailed user instructions for fast and simple submission of electronic requests. Following the processing of requests, the user will receive to his e-mail address a notification and an uncertified copy of special conditions or guidelines for the development of spatial plans. A certified copy will also be sent to the user by post to his postal address given in the request

As a reminder, in addition to the “e-Conditions” and “e-Guidelines” services, users have already had at their disposal a series of electronic services: e-Operator (data management system for operators of electronic communications networks and services), e-Market (information and analysis of the Croatian postal services and electronic communications markets), e-Complaints (submission and verification of status of complaints against operators), e-Portability (checking of the number porting status and verification of a network of a certain number), e-Procurement (overview of HAKOM’s concluded public procurement contracts), e-Employment (competitions, forums and description of employment processes at the Agency), e-Licences (licences for use of the RF spectrum for individual radio stations or several radio stations).

HAKOM intends to further upgrade its business operations by making all of its services available online, and not only on paper. All e-services may be accessed at the homepage of HAKOM’s web portal www.hakom.hr
