Public Tender for the Selection of Operators for the Provision of Universal Services
A public tender has been announced for the selection of operators to provide universal services in electronic communications across the entire territory of the Republic of Croatia, or in specific areas of the country (by municipalities, towns, or city districts of the City of Zagreb).
Pursuant to Article 119, paragraph 4, point 1 of the Electronic Communications Act (Official Gazette No. 76/22 and 14/24), and following the procedure for determining the method and quality of providing universal services in electronic communications, the Council of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), at its session held on July 18, 2024, adopted a Decision on announcing a public tender for the selection of universal service operators and approved the Tender Documentation for this selection.

In accordance with the procedure for conducting the tender, HAKOM held the public opening of offers on 13 August 2024. No offers for providing universal services were received within the tender period.
