HAKOM gets Vice-Chair at WGSE

At the WGSE working group meeting, a HAKOM’s expert was selected as Vice Chairman of this working group for a term of three years.
 
ZAGREB, 30 January 2014 – At the 66th meeting of the WGSE working group (Working Group Spectrum Engineering) Mr. Krunoslav Bejuk, M.Sc., Senior Microwave and Satellite Networks Expert at HAKOM, was selected as Vice Chairman of the WGSE working group for a term of three years. The task of the WGSE’s Vice Chairman, together with the Chairman, is to organise and chair the group’s work. The Vice Chairmen is selected on the basis of experience and qualifications. This fact indicates that long-term commitment and quality of HAKOM’s experts has again been recognised at the European level.
 
The WGSE working group is one of the most important groups of the European Electronic Communications Committee (ECC), the organisation consisting of regulators from 48 European countries and other experts in the field of electronic communications. The WGSE’s main task is to develop a technical basis for the work of a very large number of different wireless devices with the aim to enable their smooth functioning. The tasks on which WGSE is working represent the basis for the effective management of a limited natural resource – radio-frequency spectrum.
