The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) regularly collects and publishes data and indicators relating to the postal and rail services markets, as well as the electronic communications market. In order to monitor trends in market development, data are collected from market operators on a quarterly and annual basis via the HAKOM SAT system, a dedicated platform for the collection and analysis of market data.

The electronic communications market indicators collected through this process relate to the following:

• retail Internet access service
• wholesale broadband access
• wholesale high-quality access
• publicly available telephone service in the fixed network
• publicly available telephone service in the mobile network
• Pay-TV service
• leased lines and network rental service
• standalone services and bundles
• common data and investments.

Following verification and analysis of the submitted data, the information is published only in aggregated form, through indicators and statistics for each market, and can be accessed via the e-Market portal. Historical annual and quarterly comparative data for the electronic communications market in the Republic of Croatia are available in the Archive.
