Satellite communications are the topic of HAKOM’s “G Day”

                                                                                   
The conference will take place on Monday, June 5, bringing together both domestic and foreign experts.

Zagreb, 2 June 2023 On Monday, the traditional HAKOM’s conference “G Day” will take place in Zagreb. The emphasis will be put on satellite communications.This will be an opportunity to present the IRIS² project, Europe's new Infrastructure for Resilience, Interconnection & Security by Satellites. On behalf of the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) it will be presented by Philipp Scheidemann, a national expert on applications. In addition to the project IRIS², the conference will also discuss current Croatian projects, such as CroCube and FERSAT, which are developing the first Croatian cube satellites, and Hrvatski Telekom will also talk about the implementation of NTN networks (Non-Terrestrial Networks) whose functionalities have been tested in Croatia. Marijan Globan from HAKOM will present an overview of satellite communications and an international regulatory framework for satellite communications.
A panel discussion on “Satellite communications and seamless connectivity” will also be held within the scope of the conference.
