HAKOM has launched the third public call for conceptual designs for the development of web applications and services. Their selection and implementation aims at speeding up broadband access development in the Republic of Croatia.
ZAGREB, 25 March 2014 – The Croatian Post and Electronic Communications Agency (HAKOM) notifies all interested parties that it has published the third round of the public call for the submission of conceptual designs for the development of software applications and services to promote and balance broadband development in the Republic of Croatia, in particular in the areas of special state concern, hilly and mountainous areas and on islands. The objective of the public call is to collect conceptual designs for software applications and services supporting the development of the economy and the quality of life in the Republic of Croatia, i.e. supporting the development of humane activities and justice.
Following the two previous rounds, when many conceptual designs have been collected, whose implementation will inevitably lead to an increase in the quality of life in the Republic of Croatia, by this new public call HAKOM would like to re-emphasise the importance of content as one of the initiators of broadband access development. Therefore, this public call covers completely new areas of eligible conceptual designs.
The call is open to all interested legal or natural persons – state government bodies, local communities, educational and research institutions, private and public companies, non-profit organisations and the general public. It is worth mentioning that the participants in the previous two public calls can also submit their conceptual designs.
