HAKOM at the Sixth Session of ERGP

HAKOM is participating in the sixth plenary session of ERGP taking place from 24 to 25 June in Lisbon.

ZAGREB, 24 June 2014 – The sixth plenary session of ERPG (The European Regulators Group for Postal Services) is taking place in Lisbon from 24 to 26 June. The main topic of the session is the need for continuous monitoring of the effects of implementation of the Postal Directive, that is, of universal services in the postal sector while ensuring the sustainability of the universal service and the financing of the unfair financial burden of universal service providers. HAKOM is represented at the session by a member of the Council of HAKOM, Marijan Bolarić, and by assistant deputy directors, Marko Čavlović and Dalibor Lončar.
 
The plenary session will be accompanied by a workshop where members of the ERGP will exchange views on possible future activities, taking into account changes on the postal market and their impact on the existing regulatory environment.
