October 26-28, 2010 – IPA twinning project – workshop on market competition protection in electronic communications
The Croatian Post and Electronic Communications Agency (HAKOM) is a beneficiary of the IPA twinning project implemented at the Croatian Competition Agency (CCA) entitled “Implementing Croatian Competition and State Aid Policies”.
The aim of this project, worth EUR 1 million, is to improve conditions for the implementation of competition policies and state aid through support to the CCA and project stakeholders, in particular to sector regulators, state aid providers and judiciary in raising awareness and implementing anti-trust and state aid law and policies in the European Union.
In the course of the project implementation, experts from HAKOM and CCA participate, among other, in joint workshops where they exchange experiences and improve competencies in the area of market competition protection in electronic communications in cooperation with EU twinning project contractors, i.e. Autorità garante della concorrenza e del mercato and UK Department for Business Innovation and Skills.
