From 13 to 26 September 2021, in the first phase of the census, citizens will be able to independently list through the electronic system “ e- citizens “themselves and the members of their household, and in the second phase enumerators will list only those households who did not use this possibility.

ZAGREB, 3 August 2021 - The Croatian Bureau of Statistics will implement the digital first census of population, households and apartments in the Republic of Croatia in 2021, and the Census will be carried out from 13 September to 17 October. The census, as the most complex and comprehensive statistical survey, is extremely important for the Republic of Croatia, and will be conducted in two phases and in two ways. In the first phase, from 13 to 26 September 2021, citizens will be able to list themselves through the electronic e-citizens system. From September 27 to October 17.  In the second phase the field enumerators will list all census units, which are not listed in the first phase of the census, through personal interviews with the population.
