Installation of Communication Boards Continues at Railway Stations across Croatia

Communication boards are designed for passengers with communication difficulties and help make travel information more accessible during train journeys.

ZAGREB, 8 April 2026 - As part of the Accessibility 2024 project, templates have been developed for the design and content of communication boards intended for passengers with communication difficulties. Their installation at railway stations is now continuing across the network.

Following the installation of the first communication board at Zagreb Main Station, HŽ Infrastruktura Ltd has continued to implement this initiative. In accordance with the templates and guidelines developed as part of the Accessibility 2024 project, additional communication boards have been installed at the stations under its management.

In addition to Zagreb,  communication boards have been installed at the stations of Karlovac, Novska, Drniš, Kaštel Stari, Kaštel Sućurac, Knin, Perković, Solin, Split and Split Predgrađe, as well as at the stations of Bjelovar, Čakovec, Konjščina, Koprivnica, Kotoriba, Križevci, Ludbreg, Varaždin and Virovitica.

The Communication boards provide passengers with clearer and more user-friendly information on travelling by train, while also contributing to more consistent and accessible provision of information across the rail network. The installation of boards will continue at additional stations.
