At the meeting held in Malta, the main topics were related to the adoption of important documents such as BEREC and IRG 2020 Annual Work Programme, IRG Management methods in the future period, reports on coordinated data collection  by OTT service provider, report on the impact of 5G on regulation as well as the role of regulation on enabling the 5G ecosystems. 

The European Commission has awarded the best European projects in the area of ​​broadband connectivity, and among the winners there is an international project of Vahta Ltd. Company, which covers Slovenia and Croatia (Istria and Primorje-Gorski Kotar County). 

Following the invitation of HAKOM and EMERG Zagreb hosted the two-day workshop on "The new role of regulators in the Era of the new telecommunications ecosystem and the new challenges of telecom’s regulation” 

The conference focused, among other things, on new frequency bands for IMT in the millimeter band as well as on defining  the conditions of usage of these bands for the protection of existing radiocommunication services, the conditions of use of RLAN devices in the 5 GHz band, new bands for the amateur service and nanosatellite application procedures. 

The annual plenary meeting of IRG-Rail was held in Portugal HAKOM also took part in it.  

HAKOM's experts participated in lectures, workshops and panel discussions.

The main objective of the meeting is to prepare the 41st BEREC Plenary Meeting to be held on December 5-6, 2019 in Malta. 

At the meeting the Memorandum of Cooperation was also signed, based on further exchange of regulatory experiences and the establishment of a harmonized regulatory practice. 

All television programmes will be simultaneously transmitted in both: the existing and new system.

The focus of the conference is Electronic Media Law, ethical reports, harmonized media requirement with market work, introduction of new technology and media market research methodology 

The topic of the latest video, which can be found on HAKOM's Youtube channel, is to protect children from inappropriate content or behavior on the Internet. 

Egypt hosted the most significant Radiocommunication Conference  in the world, amending radio regulations and involving 193 ITU countries. 

Vienna hosted the meeting on the usage of VHF III band radio frequencies in Austria, BiH, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia and the usage of the Second Digital Dividend. 

Brussels hosted the meeting in order to discuss the issues of radio frequency spectrum usage and the RSPG work programme for 2020 and 2021, as well as a report on the harmful interference and 700 MHz release activities. 

Osijek hosted the third meeting of the "People with disabilities in Digital Society", where the main topics were about the challenges facing the people with disabilities in their daily lives, especially using the digital content. The project entitled “Affordable Web Site”, will help resolve problem” which will eventually end with the public announcement of methodology for creating affordable web sites.

The aim of the workshop was to inform operators, representatives of local self-government units, regional development agencies and state administration bodies about the new EU financial instruments for the next multiannual financial framework - "CEF2-Digital". 

In the second quarter of 2019, the 8.8% growth in parcel delivery services was recorded compared to the previous quarter and 14.7% growth in the same period of the previous year. 

In the second quarter of 2019 the rail service market recorded 12% growth compared to the same quarter of the previous year, and the number of passengers carried recorded fall of 3% 

Odašiljači veze (OIV) submitted a request to HAKOM to reschedule the date of the signal termination  in the DVB-T MPEG-2 system and fully transition to the new DVB-T2 HEVC system in the period  from May 25 to June 5, 2020. to avoid problems that could occur during the transition, so that citizens could watch  the European Football Championship 2020 which will start on June 12.
