Warning to the End Users: Unsolicited SMS Texts from Short Code, Charged as Special Rate Service, have been Reported to HAKOM
The Electronic Communications Inspector requested to temporarily block the incoming and outgoing traffic toward short code, and all the end users who receive the above mentioned messages are kindly requested to report and submit complaints to HAKOM. The users, while in the complaint procedure, are not required to pay the disputed part of the bill.

Two sublegal regulations are not in force any longer
The Act on Amendments to the Electronic Communications Act entered into force on July 22, 2017, according to which two HAKOM’’s sublegal regulations are not in force any longer: the Ordinance on the manner and conditions for the prevention and suppression of abuse and fraud in the provision of electronic mail services and the Ordinance about the mode and procedure for the allocation of mean from the Fund for the Development of Network Industries.

Decision for LTE broadcasting signal interference

HAKOM has issued a Standards Recommendation for Future DVB-T2 Reception
HAKOM has issued a recommendation on the minimum technical requirements for DVB-T2 reception in the Republic of Croatia which represents the minimum technical requirements necessary to be met by DVB-T2 in order to provide high quality reception services in the Republic of Croatia. The start of transition of digital terrestrial television broadcasting, from DVB-T to DVB-T2 in the Republic of Croatia is planned in 2019, and receivers that will meet the recommendation will be marked with a special log for easier purchase
