At the official opening of the event, the participants were welcomed on behalf of HAKOM by the  President of the Council, Mr. Dražen Lučić. In addition to the President of the Council, the Conference will also be attended by HAKOM's radiocommunications experts. 

The outcome of Forum’s work will contribute to the process of international coordination of frequencies necessary for the switchover to DVB-T2 and for the freeing of the spectrum of the second digital dividend for services in mobile communications networks.   

The main topics of the two-day workshop, held in Ljubljana, were related to the railway legislation, challenges facing the  rail freight transport as well as the challenges facing the railway passenger transport in the Danube region. 

The aim of the education is to introduce the representatives of regulators with the current EU regulatory framework and the most important topic of the first out of a total of four planned trainings refers to the competition, ex-ante regulation and the EU policies and initiatives. 

Brussels hosted the workshop on IP interconnection organized by BEREC and OECD 

At the Conference, the latest developments and trends were the topics discussed by the experts from Croatia and abroad. The participants of the panel discussion were the representatives from television stations, IT and telecommunications as well as the representatives of the regulatory authorities. The World Television Day has been celebrated for more than 20 years, and this year's topic of celebration was the importance and influence of the media in Europe. 

The main objective of the meeting is to prepare the 29thBEREC regular plenary Meeting, to be held on 8 and 9 December 2016, in Berlin, Germany. 

In Brussels, the Future Internet Forum's second meeting  was held, were among other things the most important topics were  related to the 5G technology, cloud computing (Cloud), Internet of Things (IoT) and NGI (Next Generation Internet). by HAKOM's Executive director Mario Weber took part in the meeting. 

The discussion topic at the meeting of the Committee for Electronic Communications (ECC) was on the radio frequency spectrum for 5G technology, the use of GSM, UMTS and LTE systems on aircraft and the use of short-range devices.

The seminar’s topic was the implementation of regulations in the field of electronic communications regarding planning, design and construction. The host was the Croatian Chamber of Electrical Engineers. 

The BCO Network Meeting was held in the organization of the European Commission on the experience and knowledge about possible support to the development of broadband access from the European Regional Development Fund and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. 

Warsaw hosted the IRG-Rail Plenary Meeting, the European independent rail regulatory body, which was attended by HAKOM’s representatives 

The amendments to the text of the implementing regulation on the criteria for fair use of roaming services were proposed at the meeting. The adoption of this regulation is a precondition for the complete abolition of retail charges for roaming services until June 2017. 

The first switching-off of the transmitters has started in the Italian regions of Friuli Venetia, Giulia, Veneto and Puglia, and the process should be completed by the end of the month.

During the meeting a meeting was held of the Working group on Cross-border coordination ( "Good Office") dealing with the interference  issues between the Member States. 

Rovinj is hosting the conference organized by the Croatian Academic and Research Network (CARNet) entitled “Let’s programme their future“ 

The topic of the meeting of the Telecommunications and Information Society Working Group is a Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on roaming on public mobile communications networks within the Union. The Postal Services Working Group will discuss the Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on cross-border parcel delivery services.  

The new version of the "Calculator" has been upgraded with 14 scam scenarios and it additionally offers to users an overview of all scam scenarios within the framework of the "Scams Catalogue".  "The Scams Catalogue" contains a total of 35 scam scenarios classified into 9 categories.  

The General Conference focused on the application and development of digital radio was held in Vienna.
