HAKOM's experts presented their work which comprises different aspects of quality management regarding the role of public regulatory authorities in Croatia analysing the quality management experience according to ISO 9001 requirements in the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries. 

The topic of the meeting was the development of BEREC guidelines necessary for the consistent application of the Single Market Regulation in the Electronic communications which enters into force on April 30, 2016. 

The most important topic discussed at the meeting was the problem resolution of transnational emergency calls, the A-GNSS implementation as well as the broadband Internet providers’ and OTT services providers’ obligations related to the user’s location. 

Roundtables with the stakeholders on the rail services market in the organization of HAKOM are a step further in improving the regulation of the rail services market, primarily promoting the regulatory predictability through a community dialogue and discussion on the topics of current interest. 

The activities around the world carried out on this day try to involve as many students as possible in order to understand the issues related to the Internet safety Therefore HAKOM used this opportunity to present a brochure designed for parents and their children. In addition to it a series of lectures and two educational workshops were held. 

The working group is responsible for the area of international roaming and the objective of the meeting is to agree on how to define the implementation of new regulatory framework regarding the roaming services, which shall enter into force on April 30, 2016. 

HAKOM’s Annual Report contains a report on the activities of electronic communications, postal and railway services markets or the activities on all three markets regulated by HAKOM as well as HAKOM’s financial activity report for 2014. 

The main objective of the meeting is the preparation for the 26th regular BEREC Plenary Meeting, to be held between 24 and 26 February 2016, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. 

The official Website of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries has been updated with useful advice for the users of postal services in the country and abroad as well as all applicable regulations governing the Croatian and international postal system. 

The Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) organized in Brussels the second out of a total of four planned training courses and the main issues refer to the access and interconnection services, international roaming, regulatory accounting and cost models. 

The Working Group Frequency Management (WGFM) will discuss mobile, satellite, navigation and short range device (SRD) communications. 

The objective of the workshop was to present and explain a cost model for the calculation of wholesale roaming costs.    

At the meeting of the Working group which operates at the European Commissionand deals with the issues related to the Internet governance, the most important topic was the preparation for the “IGF - Internet Governance Forum” and Conference ˝ EuroDIG 2016˝ as well as the national IGF initiatives.

Warsaw hosted the Polish - Croatian Economic Forumorganized by the Croatian Chamber of Commerce.The Croatian delegation led by Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, President of the Republic of Croatia was consisted ofmore than 60 businessmen. At the Forum ,HAKOM was represented by Mr. Dražen Lučić, President of the Council of HAKOM.

The objective of the meeting is the preparation for the Universal Postal Union (UPU) plenary meeting to be held in Bern in February this year.

At the meeting of the working group responsible for the radio frequency management the radio communications experts will discuss the topics in the field of mobile, fixed and satellite communications as well as short-range devices (SRD).
 
 

The objective of the working group meeting was to define the manner of implementation of the new regulatory framework on roaming services which will enter into force on 30 April 2016.  

The gathering included a panel discussion on the topic of «Advantages and Opportunities on the EU Single Market» that covered the current situation and expectations of some stakeholders and their plans and priorities, including key business decisions and investments in the upcoming period.

The main topic of the workshop is the influence of software-defined networks and network functions virtualization on the regulation of the electronic communications market.
