A cooperation agreement between HAKOM and ICTA/BIK was signed at the 9^th International Electronic Communications Regulators Conference held in Istanbul on 29 and 30 May
 

After the adoption of the Act on Amendments to the Electronic Communications Act and the Act on the Regulation of the Rail Services Market by the Croatian Parliament, HAKOM will be merged with the Rail Market Regulatory Agency to create a single regulatory authority for network activities.
 

According to the indicators on the electronic communications market, the revenue from internet access services continued to grow in the first quarter of 2014 as opposed to telephone services in the fixed network.

HAKOM’s representatives, Marijan Bolarić, member of the Council of HAKOM and Dalibor Lončar, Assistant Director of HAKOM, participate in the work of the 49^th Plenary Session of the CERP (European Committee for Postal Regulation), which takes place on 29^th and 30^th of May 2014 in Skopje.

HAKOM published an expert opinion stating that, in case of price increase or introduction of additional fees, mobile subscribers will be able to terminate their contracts without being charged early termination fees.
