BEREC presented adopted documents and initiatives discussed at its 55th meeting

The BEREC Chair presented the documents released public and announced the next meeting to be held in October.

Zagreb, 19 June 2023 Following the 55th session of the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC), Kostas Masselos, Chair of BEREC for 2023, presented the documents adopted at the meeting with the co-chairs of the Working Groups and announced the next 56th meeting, to be held on 5 and 6 October 2023 in Portugal. On this occasion, documents and initiatives that were discussed and adopted were presented, such as BEREC’s contribution to the European Commission’s research consultation, the Opinion on the European Commission’s Gigabit Recommendation, the Analysis of the EC legal proposal on the Gigabit Infrastructure’s Act, the Draft BEREC report on practices and challenges of phasing out 2G and 3G, the BEREC report on interoperability for number-independent interpersonal communications services (NI-ICS) and the BEREC Report on the follow-up of the Joint Statement between EU-UA operators.
