HAKOM Amends the Microwave Link Assignment Plan

ZAGREB, 13 July 2026 - HAKOM has amended the Microwave Link Assignment Plan to align it with technological developments, the evolving needs of electronic communications networks and the international regulatory framework.

The amendments introduce 220 MHz and 224 MHz channel arrangements in the 18 GHz, 23 GHz and 38 GHz frequency bands. They also permit the use of the 14 GHz frequency band for the production and transmission of television content.

The amendments contribute to a more efficient use of the radio-frequency spectrum and provide the regulatory framework for increasing the capacity of transmission systems and supporting the further development of electronic communications networks.

A public consultation on the proposed amendments was conducted prior to the adoption of the amendments. The amended Microwave Link Assignment Plan is available at the following link.
