The Forum will bring together representatives of regulatory and public authorities, the European Commission, Croatian online platforms, industry stakeholders and civil society organisations to exchange experiences and discuss the practical challenges of DSA implementation.
As the national Digital Services Coordinator, HAKOM will present data on user complaints received, the mechanisms available for safeguarding users' rights, and its experience to date in implementing the DSA.
A representative of the European Commission will speak about the supervision of very large online platforms and online search engines, as well as the procedures conducted by the Commission within its area of competence. The perspective of Croatian online platforms and their experience of applying the new rules will be presented by representatives of Njuškalo.
A dedicated part of the Forum will focus on the protection of children and young people in the digital environment. The Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (CNZD) will present its experience and the challenges it faces in the area of reporting illegal online content.
