HAKOM experts educated students and participated in a discussion on consumer protection issues

A round table and educational workshop for children were held in Rijeka on the occasion of marking World Consumer Rights Day.

ZAGREB, March 22, 2024 - Following the invitation of the organizer Consumer Protection Association of the Bjelovar-Bilogora County, HAKOM's user protection experts held educational workshops for fifth and sixth-grade students in elementary schools in Bjelovar and the municipality of Rovišće this week. Over the course of three days, a total of 11 workshops were held for 23 classes of students. Through interactive presentations and discussions, students had the opportunity to learn about the importance of safe internet usage, recognizing online threats, and how to protect themselves when using various online platforms and tools.

As a particularly sensitive group of electronic communication service users, children have been in focus for HAKOM for many years. HAKOM consistently conducts workshops like these and responds to invitations from primary schools and consumer associations whenever possible. More information can be seen via the link.
