HAKOM’s round table with representatives of rail service providers and users, the competent Ministry and the Croatian Railway Safety Agency

HAKOM organized the first round table with stakeholders on the rail services market.
ZAGREB, 3 March 2015 – The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) organized the first round table with representatives of rail service providers and users, the competent Ministry and the Croatian Railway Safety Agency.
The objective of the round table was to encourage mutual communication between stakeholders and to discuss common topics, including:
 
- an overview of annual indicators on the rail services market for 2014,
- legal framework for the provision of rail services,
- plans for 2015.
 
Round tables with stakeholders on markets under HAKOM’s competence represent a further step towards improvement of regulation, in the first place towards promotion of regulatory predictability through joint dialogue and discussion about topics of common interest.
