HAKOM talks with units of local and regional self-government of the Splitsko-Dalmatinska County about broadband development

The meeting on broadband development in the Splitsko-Dalmatinska County with was held in Split with representatives of local and regional self-government and of the business and academic community.
 
ZAGREB, 16 March 2015 – HAKOM met in Split with representatives of local and self-government units, heads of municipalities and majors, representatives of the business and academic community and management of the County headed by the County Prefect, Mr. Ževrnj. The meeting focused on the development of broadband in the Republic of Croatia with a special emphasis on this county.
 
The topics of the meeting included the possibilities of broadband development at the regional and local level with the assistance from the European Union development funds and on HAKOM’s willingness to assist with this demanding, but cost-effective, building of the necessary electronic communications infrastructure. The meeting was organized by the County and, in addition to HAKOM’s representatives, it was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure and representatives of "Lator" consulting firm, who also gave introductory speeches.
