HAKOM will take part at the 64th International symposium ELMAR-2022

The oldest scientific European conference will take place in Zadar from September 12-14.

ZAGREB, 5 September 2021 - Zadar hosts the International symposium ELMAR-2022, the oldest conference in Europe, gathering prominent international experts for 64 years in a row, starting on 12 September. This year's scientific program includes a series of lectures and presentations of accepted scientific articles, published in the collection of papers and indexed in prestigious international bibliographic databases. A series of sessions, panel discussions and workshops will be held during the conference, (available to watch online) and it is scheduled to end on 14 September.

HAKOM is also the sponsor of this year's event and will actively participate in ELMAR's work through the organization of a special section “5G in Maritime Affairs, Tourism, and Ports”, which will be held on September 12, 2022, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Hotel Donat in Zadar in cooperation with the company Odašiljači i veze d.o.o. (OIV) and ELMAR, and can also be watched on HAKOM’s  YouTube channel. The aim is to present some of the many possibilities for business improvement through the use of 5G technology, which is applicable and easily achievable in Croatia. Its practical solutions based on 5G technology will be presented by: Spectre d.o.o., Maritime Centre of Excellence, Markoja d.o.o. and FER, OIV, Ericsson, Huawei, and Nokia. After the presentations, a panel discussion will be held on “How to achieve innovative solutions through the 5G network in Croatia?”
