Half-yearly report on users disputes in 2023

In addition to analysis of disputes resolution, the report on disputes of users of the electronic communications in the first six months of 2023, also proposes the recommendations to operators for their improvements.

Zagreb, 4 August 2023- On its official website, the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) published the Report on Users Disputes with the Electronic Communications Operators before HAKOM for the first six months of 2023. In addition to the analysis of resolved disputes at HAKOM, the report includes a review of complaints of first instance and complaints to operators of second instance.

After passing the complaints procedure with the operator, the user can initiate a dispute before HAKOM as the third instance of dispute resolution under the Electronic Communications Act. In this period too, a decrease in the initiation of disputes has been recorded which indicates a continuation of the trend of amicable settlement of users complaints.
