This year's fourth celebration is specific because of the presentation of projects / initiatives / programs implemented within the scope of intersectoral co-operation on the promotion of financial literacy. 

As a result of increased activities in the postal services market in the last quarter of 2017, the number of total services and revenue increased in reference to the previous quarter. 

The radio frequency spectrum for 5G technology at 26 GHz, the usage of L belts (1.5 GHZ) for mobile communications networks, IoT at 900 and 1800 MHz were the topics of the meeting of the Electronic Communications Committee  (ECC).  In addition, it was discussed on preparation for the next World Radio Communication Conference (WRC-19) and co-operation with the European Commission and other international organizations.

On December 27, 2017, the Croatian Government announced a public invitation to nominate candidates for the Council which is consisted of five members. The Croatian Parliament has not appointed new members of the Council yet. 

During the five year mandate the Council held 139 regular and 3 extraordinary sessions. 

The topic of the meeting was the annual report and the adopted  draft that will be presented at the EMERG plenary session . The evaluation of  the implementation of work plan ,recommendations and decisions was evaluated  and the issues of joint  interest were discussed. 

The main objective of the meeting was preparing the 34th BEREC regular plenary session of, to be held on March 7 and 8 2018 in Bratislava, Slovakia. 

The topics discussed at the meeting on development of mobile satellite services, as well as the adoption of new guidelines for the establishment of operators with significant market power n the forthcoming activities related to the WiFi4EU project. 

The report submitted by the Commission to the HAKOM’s Council states that the biggest disputes are related to the electronic communications while a smaller number of cases are related to the postal and rail services. 

The brochure entitled "How to Protect Your Child in the World of Internet, Network Technologies, and Mobile Phones" contains practical and useful tips on possible threats and security on the Internet, privacy and personal data protection, behaviour and use of social networks. 

On Friday, an increase in the number of incoming calls from 10 different international numbers  was recorded , shown as a missed call and a call-back is expected. Those numbers have been blocked for traffic. 

Brussels hosted the ENRRB Meeting – European Network of Rail Regulatory Bodies  

The meeting discussed a series of topics related to the technical aspect of management of the radio frequency spectrum, ie. ways of sharing the radio frequency spectrum between immobile, mobile and satellite services and short-range devices (SRDs). 

The programme in the amount of EUR 120 million for 2017 to 2019 is aimed at all the EU Member States  and  the WiFi infrastructure construction will be 100% co-financed 

In comparison to the 2007 reaching the 72.5 points (out of 100 possible) and taking the 29th place in the rankings, the Republic of Croatia has progressed to  the 17^th position with a total score of 93 points.
