Representatives of the Albanian Regulatory Authority, AKEP, visit HAKOM

Representatives of the Albanian Agency for Electronic and Postal Communications (AKEP) visited HAKOM today with a view to exchanging experiences in the field of postal services market regulation.
 
ZAGREB, 23 October 2014 – Today the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) hosted representatives of the Albanian Agency for Electronic and Postal Communications (Autoriteti i Komunikimeve Elektronike dhe Postare - AKEP).
 
This work visit, which was organized at the moment when the adoption a new postal services act is pending in Albania, is very useful for the deepening of further cooperation with surrounding countries, in particular within the framework of regulation of the postal services market, which has been under AKEP’s competence since this year. During this visit, HAKOM’s experts will discuss with their Albanian counterparts various issues concerning the regulation of the postal services market and exchange experiences in the field of postal services regulation, with a special emphasis on the opening of the postal services market in accordance with the EU Directives.
