Second visit of the Korean Communications Agency to HAKOM

NEWS

After last year’s visit and recent signature of a cooperation agreement with the Korean ministry competent for electronic communications, HAKOM was once again visited by the Korean Communications Agency.

ZAGREB, 10 November 2014 – The delegation of the Korean Communications Agency (Korean Communications Agency, KCA), Mr. Young-Min Ahn and Mr. Kyung-Ku Jung, visited HAKOM within the framework of continuous cooperation between the two institutions. The objective of the visit is to exchange experiences and knowledge in the RF management sector for radio and television, including the control and supervision of spectrum use, and operational management of the regulatory authority. The visit followed shortly after the signature of a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Science, Information Technology and Planning of the Republic of Korea (MSIP) and represents a continuation of cooperation initiated in September of last year when KCA chose Croatia and HAKOM for the preparation of a study on successful RF spectrum management and liberalization of electronic communications soon after the war for independence.
