Suspension of Postal Dispatch of Certain Goods to the United States

HP has confirmed that the measure follows new customs regulations in the USA, effective from 29 August.”
 
ZAGREB, 22 August 2025 - Croatian Post (HP - Hrvatska pošta d.d.) has informed its customers that, from 26 August, it will suspend the reception of all postal items addressed to the United States which contain commercial goods.

The reception of items containing written communication (such as documents and correspondence) will continue, as will the reception of parcels containing gifts sent by private individuals to private recipients in the United States, provided that the total value of the goods or gifts does not exceed USD 100.

This measure is being introduced in response to new customs regulations in the United States, which will take effect on 29 August. Further details are available on the official website of Croatian Post via the published link.
