BEREC’s Questionnaire on the indicators of the impact of electronic communications networks and services on the environment
ZAGREB, 4 November 2022 - The body of the European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) has invited electronic communications market stakeholders to participate in the collection of data related to BEREC's sustainability activities. Since, in its Strategy for the period 2021-2025 BEREC aims at understanding how the telecommunications sector can contribute to a greener Europe and how it can help achieve the neutral impact of telecommunications and digital markets on climate change, a questionnaire has been published. The aim of the afore-mentioned is to collect all relevant information contributing to the identification of indicators that could further identify the impact of electronic communications networks and services on the environment.
The questionnaire can be completed by 2 December 2022 and the results will be published in BEREC's Sustainability Indicators Report, the draft of which should be sent for public consultation in the first half of 2023.
