International Conference “The Accessible Future”
ZAGREB, June 13, 2022 - Under the auspices of the organizer, Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), the International Conference entitled “Accessible Future” will be held, in Zagreb on Tuesday, June 14. The conference will focus on the topics related to the needs of persons with disabilities in modern (digital) society, an exchange of experiences and ideas on improving accessibility for persons with disabilities in markets under the competence of HAKOM (electronic communications, rail and postal services), but also on general finding a model for making certain solutions more accessible beyond the scope of the mentioned markets.
Three main topics on the Agenda will be following “Accessible Environment and Role of Regulators”, “Association for Persons with Disabilities; Challenges to digital accessibility now and in the future” which will include a panel discussion on “Key
Accessibility Challenges” and “Cooperation between academia, regulators and industry”. The conference will be attended by persons with disabilities from Croatia and other European countries.
