The most important topics were those related to the rail freight corridors, network report, the process of making the timetable and the international coordination system of the requests for train routes.
 

This year Pula hosted Cisco Conference.

The topic of the meeting of the Working Party for Telecommunications and Information Society was Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing the European Electronic Communications Code. 

The working group is responsible for addressing the control and supervision of the radio frequency spectrum as well as for writing the proposals of international recommendations for the development of joint measurement techniques and procedures for the radio frequency spectrum monitoring  

Within the scope of the programme "Look, Try, Experience", three high school students participated in a two-day training in HAKOM. The program aims to enable the students to experience certain professions directly in the workplace in order to make a decision regarding the selection of future profession. 

The Conference on electronic business brought together numerous experts in the field of electronic communication technologies and standards in informatics and specialists interested in new trends in digital business activities. The last day of the conference HAKOM presented its application entitled „Cost Estimator” and “Do Not Call Registry”.

Brussels hosted the Meeting of the RF EWG Working Group operating within  the European Regulatory Authorities for Electronic Communications BEREC 

The aim of the meeting was the development of guidelines on the implementation of new regulatory framework which would ultimately lead to the abolition of additional retail roaming charges, coming into force on15 June 2017. 

HAKOM participated at the meeting of the working group  entitled "Cross-border parcels delivery" of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services ERGP dealing with the issues of cross-border parcels delivery  on the postal services markets within  the EU Member States.
 

Domagoj Jurjević, the Deputy Chairman of the Council at (HAKOM) took part in the meeting in a panel discussion on "digital transformation". 

The two-day meeting of the advisory body of the European Commission was held in Brussels. The Body considers the actions and practices in the field of railway services market in order to harmonize it at the EU level.  

COCOM committee is a forum of dialogue between the European Commission (EC) and the EU Member States on the issues where the European Commission has delegated legislative powers, and before adopting the delegated act the Commission must consult with the Member States experts. 

The lecture aimed at fourth grade pupils of elementary school Ivan Goran Kovačić was held in the premises of Children's Library "M2" in Zagreb. 

The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) was represented by Dražen Lučić, President of the Council and Domagoj Jurjević, Deputy President of the Council. 

The aim of the meeting of the working group is the exchange of experience between regulators from the EU Member States aimed at better regulation of the access to the postal network of the universal service provider. 

The topic of the meeting was the Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing the European Code of electronic communications.

HAKOM participated at the EMERG-Plenary Meeting in Rome on March 20.  

The Ordinance provides financial means for the activities performed by the Agency  in the field of electronic communications, post and railways. The Public Hearing will be open until April 3, 2017.
