Growth in the Total Number of Services
A total of 69.6 million postal services were provided in the first quarter of 2026, representing an increase of 9.4 per cent compared with the same period in 2025.
Although letters continued to account for the largest share of all services provided, their volume continued to decline. In international postal traffic, the number of services provided increased by 13.8 per cent.
Revenue Growth
Total revenue generated in the postal services market during the first quarter of 2026 amounted to approximately EUR 105 million, representing an increase of 10.9 per cent compared with the same period in 2025.
The increase in revenue was driven by the growth in the overall number of services provided, as well as the rising share of higher-value services, which accounted for approximately 57 per cent of total market revenue.
Number of Postal Service Providers
At the beginning of 2026, one new postal service provider entered the market. By the end of the first quarter, a total of 25 providers were offering postal services.
