The 22nd ERGP Plenary Meeting held

The ERGP Draft Work Programme was discussed at the meeting with particular emphasis on medium-term strategy (MTS) topics for the period 2023-2025.
 
ZAGREB, 5 July 2022 – 22nd ERGP meeting was held in Madrid on 1 July 2022. The plenary meeting of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP), was attended by the representatives of HAKOM as well. The ERGP Draft Work Programme for 2023 was discussed at the meeting, with particular emphasis on three main topics in the medium-term strategy presented (MTS) for the period 2023-2025, namely the review of the postal sector and its regulatory framework in the light of environmental sustainability and digitalization, the promotion of a competitive EU single market in the context of increasing e-commerce and strengthening end-users and ensuring user-oriented universal service. In addition, the meeting highlighted the need for revision of the Postal Directive, and the Report PL I 13 – Analysis of Article 6 of Regulation (EU) 2018/644 on cross-border parcel delivery services was adopted for public announcement.
