The winners of the European Broadband Awards

The award for the broadband infrastructure development plan in Solin goes to A1 Hrvatska d.o.o.

Zagreb, 27 November 2023 - The European Broadband Awards for 2023 were presented at a ceremony held in Brussels on Tuesday, 21 November. The European Commission (DG Connect) awarded prizes in five categories: 1.Innovative financing, business, and investment models 2.Cost reduction measures and co-investment 3.Socio-economic impact in rural and remote areas 4.Demand generation and take-up of connectivity 5.Cross-border and international connectivity. This year's awards focused on projects contributing to the achievement of the Digital Decade objectives.

In competition with projects from all over Europe providing citizens with very high-capacity connectivity, the Croatian operator A1 Hrvatska was honoured with the European Broadband Award - "Broadband4everyone - Broadband Infrastructure Development Plan for a Sustainable City of Solin."
