Regulation laying down criteria and procedures for the granting, suspension or revocation of trusted flagger status published in the Official Gazette

The Regulation lays down the criteria and procedures for trusted flagger status in accordance with the Digital Services Act.

Zagreb, 15 May 2026 - The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) adopted the Regulation laying down criteria and procedures for the granting, suspension or revocation of trusted flagger status, which was published in the Official Gazette on 13 May (link) and enters into force on the eighth day following its publication, namely on 21 May 2026.

The Regulation ensures the implementation of the Digital Services Act, in particular Article 22, and sets out in detail the criteria and procedure for granting trusted flagger status, the conditions and grounds for the suspension, amendment or revocation of that status, as well as the procedures to be followed by the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), acting as the Digital Services Coordinator of the Republic of Croatia.

An integral part of the Regulation is the Annex - Application Form for the Granting of Trusted Flagger Status, which serves as a standard application form. The form is to be submitted to HAKOM in the Croatian language, as a rule electronically, to the following address: [email protected].
