HAKOM published the tenth public tender for the development of three new socially-useful applications under the Programme for Internet and Broadband Development in Areas of Special State Concern, Hilly and Mountainous Areas and Islands.

Following the approval given by the Government of the Republic of Croatia, HAKOM adopted a new Statute.

Public consultation on proposals for HAKOM’s Annual Activity Plan and the Annual Financial Plan for 2015 has been launched. The public consultation will be open for the general public until 18 August.

After successful completion of five invitations to tender and award of state aid amounting to more than HRK 30 million, HAKOM continues with the implementation of its Internet and Broadband Development Programme. The new tender focuses on the development of the necessary infrastructure for broadband access for target users in flood affected areas of South-eastern Slavonia.
 

The Government of the Republic of Croatia accepted HAKOM’s Annual Activity Report for the previous year at its 176^th session. The Croatian Parliament will also discuss HAKOM's report and vote on its adoption after its summer recess.

Amendments to the Ordinances refer to the change of HAKOM’s full name, and will enter into force on 17 July 2014. 

 

HAKOM published the ninth public tender for the development of six new socially-useful applications under the Programme for Internet and Broadband Development in Areas of Special State Concern, Hilly and Mountainous Areas and Islands. 

HAKOM published a practical, educational and informative brochure for all co-owners of residential and business buildings entitled “Fibre to the Building…” with a view to introducing them to the fibre-optic technology and informing them about the need for and advantages of fibre-optic installations. On this occasion, it also published a template of a framework agreement that may be used for regulating relations with the operator.

After the entry into force of Act on Amendments to the Electronic Communications Act and the new Act on the Regulation of the Rail Services Market, HAKOM was merged with the Rail Market Regulatory Agency to create a single national regulatory authority for network industries.
