Guidance on granting the licence for the use of radio frequency spectrum on a vessel

The application for granting the licence for the  use of  radio frequency spectrum shall be submitted to HAKOM in writing or through the web interface e-Vessels.
Note: Web interface and user manual are in Croatian only.

Only registered users can submit applications electronically.
 
When submitting the application for  granting of the above-mentioned licence the applicant must: 

Accurately complete the application form for granting the licence for the use of radio frequency spectrum on a vessel:      
  •  Mark the general class of the vessel according to data from table 1.
  •  Specify the individual class of the vessel according to data from table 1.
  •  Mark the type of the device for which the licence is granted. (Devices are divided according to type and frequency areas for which they are used, and you can check them in table 2.).
  •  For each marked type of a device, specify the total number of devices of the same type for which the licence is granted.

The completed form must be supplemented by the following:
  • Documents pursuant to Article 14, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Ordinance on conditions for assignment and use of the radio frequency spectrum (OG 45/12 and OG 50/12), i.e. a copy of navigation certificate or ship certificate registration, or, in case the applicant does not posses the above, the certificate of vessel registration reservation issued by the competent harbour authority or decision on the vessel name issued by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure.
  • The original of the previously granted licence if change of data in the relevant licence is requested.
  • A copy of a certificate or another public document containing data on the personal identification number (OIB)(1)

(1)  In case an applicant has previously provided HAKOM with a certificate or another public document containing data on OIB, such an applicant shall not have the obligation to re-submit them for further licences.
 
Note: 
The fee for the granting of licence and use of the radio frequency spectrum shall be paid upon HAKOM’s written request once the application has been processed
